Found this today; new (somewhat new) take on an old fave:

i like this mix. it's easy to mix in a dj set but finishes basically exactly like dirty epic. it's more or lease a 2-3minute intro with beats so you can mix it and then transitions into the original track. i think it's great for what it's meant to be, and that's a version Jori can drop in his sets. we're lucky it got out for everyone to hear.

Don't get me wrong, the remix that started this thread is by no means bad. I think it is quite good in it's own right.
But in my opinion, there is no way anyone could improve on the original.
At best, maybe change it up to view it from a new point of view.
To me dirty Epic is sacred grounds.

But then again, someone could come out with a mix that blows my mind, then I'll eat crow, happily.

In my opinion (and im entitled to my opinion) the only Underworld track that sounded better remixed was/is Bruce Lee - Micronaughts remix.

Remixes are not always meant to be better than the original, but to show the remixer's point of few on the track. Hence the name "remix", and not "improved version" or something. Also, remixes are often meant to fit better into a mix than its original version.

the OWB era live version with Darren Price should be released as a single/remix

Yeah but let's face it, 80% of remixes are uninspired garbage, where the remixer takes a beat he threw away years ago and just samples different parts of the original over it.

Clean?

I'll have none it. I like getting down to the dirty dog culture and find who's jerkin' their chains.
