Nerdy annoying Quicktime issue

So i've got in and tried to watch some stuff via Quicktime. However, when im clicking on these things to watch/listen, im getting the message "switching transports". I've tried googling advice but the info is confusing. Anyone got any simple solutions?

there's a new quicktime update. download it and retry.

Unistalled everything and put it back in, still not working. Only seems to effect the broadcasts on UWlive. Want it up and running so I catch the last broadcast. Streaming bits of audio/film on other sites seems to be fine.
