It really boggles the mind that so many people out there still seem concerned with the same ridiculous list of questions about Obama:

Does he wear a flag pin on his lapel?

Is he a Muslim?

Wasn't he sworn in on a Koran?

He was born in one a them foreign countries, right?

Why doesn't he put his hand over his heart when he says the Pledge of Allegiance? He must hate this country!

All important, intelligent, hard-hitting questions to be sure (), but luckily, AFL-CIO is sending out a mailer to around 600,000 union members in battleground states that's meant to finally set the record straight (http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/07/29/afl08043_afl_final_fpo.pdf). That people actually base their support of a candidate on such superficial, impertinent issues scares the crap out of me, but I'm glad there's an effort to dispel these myths all the same.

Yeah, did you hear about Paris and Britney?

Obama's going to raise taxes!!!

The brown nose party will just raise the prices of everything else. I can understand the girls being quite delusional as they can afford everything else going up. I'd be more comfortable hoping gains earned in taxes, just MIGHT come back to the average American not living on cloud 9. Or cloud 6 or whatever.

Even if it means taking more tax dollars from the party girls/boys/men/women.

"aaaaah, hee, hee ....... weeeeeee ahhhhh, hee, hee"

"and I was waving! and I was waving, "I'm on T.V., I'm on T.V.!"

"...The ghetto prince has got a point..." Bounce me out of the room, and I just may bounce you of the face of the earth.

I'm have a fucking field day with this shit!

Yeah, did you hear about Paris and Britney?Yep. Here's a link to the ad this is referring to (http://www.cnn.com/video/?/video/politics/2008/07/30/sot.mccain.ad.celebs.cnn). Honestly, I'm not sure it's a smart ad in that it makes Obama look pretty impressive to me. Especially since I agree with opposing additional offshore drilling. And I'm not sure that calling attention to Obama's stance on taxes does McCain any favors since it may just magnify the current flap going on in regards to McCain's contradictory statements regarding where he stands on raising taxes (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121737539116495163.html?mod=googlenews_wsj). But then it's also hard for me to look at comparisons between the two very objectively at this point, so who knows how it'll be received.

Sorry.

Anyone who REALLY knows me, knows my nostrils flare when I get in a joking mood.

I feel so stupid on talking trash before watching the clip. The article I read made it sound like Paris and Britney were verbally backing McCain.

Going to give "Travel Without Moving" by Karma de la Luna a go to get the jest of it.
