I agree, this track is AMAZING. UW is so brilliant with making such epic songs like this and I can't help but feel nostalgic toward Moaner. I hope they continue to make songs like this every now and then.

i think a greatest unreleased cd would be great. just something to look at in the record stores. i hate going into every record store i know and i find the tab with underworld on it, and i only see oblivion with bells. and before that, it was a hundred days off only. its like, no, this one record does not do the band justice. not at all.

well, I support this completely (great idea Matt:D)
and in fact I would like to have all of the songs I mentioned in
my "greatness lies in these ..." tread to be official ;)
Then I would have versions without any blanks which could be even longer...

Underworld is more....more then can be seen ...i say

Definitely like the latest version of 020202, though what i realllly want is a definitive studio version of "Always Loved a Film". Song's gotten better and better, and the crazy bass during the April radio show was too great!

A quick list of my favorie Unreleased Underworld:

-Always Loved a Film (silver boots)
-Choppo
-Bear of a Man
-Dinner at Rod's
-5 points
-Improv from ~2000 wherein Karl sings "I Like the Sound of Your Voice"
-Improv from ~2002, a four chord stomper often played ibetween Push and KoS or Rowla
-To heal (with Rick's dad's vocals)
-Bamboo
-You Do Scribble

5 years ago, I found the Dirty Epic CD Single Import in HMV on Oxford Street, London :)

Sometimes, the nuggets are there hehe

I'd be very happy if TT gets released. My favourite of the unreleased songs!

I so want You Do Scribble on some sort of release! At least i've got it via one of the London gigs to listen to!

Is it me or does Karl's voice on 020202 sound the same style as
Sola Sistim? But changed the lyrics though.

020202 should have been Sola Sistim but UW decided not to release it on AHDO because it sounded too much like Moaner.

Dol - why not join the rtsr board of trade (http://rtsr.rowla.com/) - the sister site to Dirty? I am sure you will find lots of lovely things there. ;)

Twas mentioned on a broadcast and im sure it was mentioned in an interview as well. No-one really knew to begin with until 020202 was first played and the lyrics came in.

Not really, but maybe some day some people might compile that information into a collaborative community document editing project on a website. I think it should be called a tiki. ;)

now this is weird.

they released the r59 mix of beautiful burnout on japanese itunes, but i couldnt get it. i check today if its still kicking around waiting for me to devise a workaround, and it's not there. google turns up nothing, tracks disappeared off the earth. but it's out there dammit. and it's fucking brilliant and i want it.

so add that to the list.

It was never on JP iTunes. It was only ever (and still is) on EU iTunes Stores.
