So hi guys - sorry I haven't been around as much recently
been crazy busy in the print studio... and well - my internet is fucked back at my apartment

but anyways - I had the time a few days ago to do a new mix...

http://www.sendspace.com/file/d9yg2q

this is basically a continuation from the last mix...
(hence the title)

every track played was (at least slightly) re-edited, unlike the last mix, which kinda just went into sections /passages of edits, then back to songs as-is

so that none of the tracks in the mix set are 'as they normally are'

although some of the changes are pretty subtle, and may be like - only looped a bit at the intro's, etc

while other songs, have had massive amounts of work done on them... but I made it sound as if nothing new was added...
(like how the percussion from the Portishead song plays for a solid minute or so - before the track actually cross-fades over)

but all the edits, etc were done live - I didn't like do each track individually, then mix them together. It was all done as I was recording (which was a bit of a bitch, in all honesty)

Mid Day Rain - Welcome to the Rain
UNKLE - Have You Passed Through This Night?
Portishead - Nylon Smile (Scienticians Remix)
Santogold - My Superman (mmmatthias Remix)

Looks heavy-hitting! Will DL and comment soon!

As for your editing and technique, i hear you loud & clear about the effort involved. Whether mixed on the fly or painstakingly cut/adjusted like a studio mix LP, it's a labor of love. As long as a mix isn't solely automatic ableton (or even if it is, but the tracks are well chosen and the transitions make sense), it suits me fine! i appreciate the DJ's effort.
