Anyone else remember seeing this? When Top of the pops was still being broadcast in the UK, im sure that UW couldn't perform [or more then likely mine] when PU was in the charts. Instead, they sent over a special video featuring footage from their Japanese tour. Anyone got it or seen it?

Speaking of Push Upstairs - am I completely wrong in thinking that UW performed it at some sort of MTV awards show?

All I can remember was that it was the first time seeing or even hearing of Underworld, and I was mighty impressed with the giant video screen they used as backdrop :)

It's funny, Dirty0900. We had this conversation before, but I forgot it. Anyway, I found the TotP video here:

The outdoor footage is from the Blue Mountain concert in Australia for the film crew of the Push Upstairs music video.

I had that file too!
But... OF COURSE it got lost in either:
"The Great External Hard Drive Crash of 2011"
or
"The Tragic Hard Drive Crash of 2002"
dark times indeed. I still get a lump in my throat when I think of all the files I've lost
(only [mostly] kidding btw)

...I vaguely recall there was also a later Mtv performance
It was around the time that Darren left, like I want to say - it was not long after him leaving was announced (or it might've even been before it was 'official')
and they played two or three songs (I think it was NUXX, KoS, and ...I forget the third track)
but they were sort of 'weird' versions - definitely very short, like hearing radio edits played live
and were more bass + kick drum heavy than usual (or I guess... during that era, most songs got a bit more 'oomph' than usual)
anyone remember that?

Could you upload that to somewhere freely acessible, i.e. outside of facebook, much appreciated !

You're probably thinking of the MTV Festival in Ibiza

NUXX
Push Upstairs
Dirty Epic
King of Snake
are all widely available as video files.

Unfortunately, it's not my video. I wrote the poster to see if he has a higher quality version available. In the meantime, you can download the Facebook compressed version by going to www.keepvid.com and plugging in the URL.
