I'm off to see a girl I know in Portland, OR and I'm burning a DVD of MP3's as a "Hello" gift. You can imagine I'm including some UW, I'm trying to keep it a minimum so as not to appear a total club addict. I guess the reason I'm posting (since it's too late/early for a response) is to let everyone know that UW still makes it onto the occasional "I'm into you" mix.
Hope everyone's doing well--
tantris (as heard on UW broadcasts)

Don't forget Journey, Open Arms. She'll melt! ;)Just saw this on the Tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTMzPpwc36M) and I must say that the girl who melts with this may quite gladly piss off and go melt with some 50-year-old, thinned-out-long-haired (the disgusting, greasy kind), rock ballad couch potato(broth). Thank you.

i put underworld on the very first mix CD i gave my husband, back when we were just getting to know each other.
while i wouldn't describe him as a fan, he enjoys their music and can cite tracks by name and hum along with just about everything i own. that's all i ask of him, that he co-dependently tolerate my addiction. :p

Haha. That song was on the very first mix tape I made for my 7th grade girlfriend. By my count, I'd be in something like 27th grade now.
I'm pretty sure Cool the Engines by Boston was also on there, so you can get a feel for where I was at back then. ;) -- Hrm, what message was THAT song sending?

I'm 22nd grade and somehow all that classic rock had no effect on me. Except for the haircut, that is.

By now, being a "minor fan", she digs Everything, Everything and goes mental on Moaner.
