What is the all time worst remix of an underworld track by another artist?
Official catalogue only, no white label "I did a Undawuld mash up, respects me plz, ktnxbia".
I'm guessing with the level of opinion about this the lack of an initial suggestion on my part as proper etiquette would dictate may be forgiven particularly if I explain that if I don't like a mix I don't tend to listen to it again and therefore in my mind it slips away into oblivion (No pun intended).

I agree, they're all pretty terrible. Bedrock's Cowgirl is the one oasis in the vast desert of shockingly shit Underworld remixes.

honestly... it'd be easier to say which ones I LIKE
Push Upstairs - Darren Price Remix
Push Upstairs (Adam Beyer Remix 1)
Push Upstairs (Adam Beyer Remix 2)
Bruce Lee - Buffalo Daughter Remix
Bruce Lee - Micronauts Remix
Dinosaur Adventure 3D (Chickenlips Adventure)
Jumbo (Rob Rives & Francois K. Main Dish)
Jumbo (Future Shock Worlds Apart Mix)
Jumbo (Jedis Sugar Hit Mix)
Cups (Salt City Orchestra's Vertical Bacon Vocal)
...although I always confuse the "Jumbo" mixes... so I might be wrong about one of them...
and the Darren Price remix of "Born Slippy" which actually sounds more like a remix of Banstyle (b/c it only has samples f/ that track and none f/ NUXX) isn't too bad either
(edit)
...actually ever since the River Run series, I've been pretty happy with the remixes by other artists in general...
The point is maybe that Underworld tracks are very achieved & brilliant in the original versions, so it might be better that they stay untouched... well... with the exception of the Underworld & Darren Price remixes :D

Agreed. Oakey's remix was terrible. I'll admit that he sometimes produces some catchy tunes, but that remix was terrible.

Well, there's only 2 UW remixes I actually like - one is the Salt City version of Cups, and the other is something called Jumbo (Deep Dish remix), and it's 4:25. I got that one off some file sharing program ages ago and still don't know where it comes from. It's not the one on the Jumbo single (at least, not from the boxset). Does anyone know where it's from and who did it? It's seriously fantastic....

The Jumbo remix you speak of is from Deep Dish's mix CD called Yoshiesque, and it is just the first half of 'Rob Rives and Francois K Main Dish' of Jumbo. It's track 17 of CD 1. On track 16 of said CD, the last minute of that song is the 'outro' of the Jumbo remix.

i didn't know i was supposed to hate all of the remixes. i guess i'm not a l33t fan.lol! :p I think the deal here is that for a lot of us Underworld is our favorite band and when a different band remixes an UW song, it becomes more like the other band than UW, so obviously we'd like it less.

I think that's just true of remixes in general. I have a lot of remix CDs and there's usually like one or two good ones apiece.
