Lords of the dance UNDERWORLD are the latest live legends to join the all-star line up at Creamfields 08 – marking the 10th anniversary of the UK’s best dance festival. Renowned for their groundbreaking live sets and leading the 90’s dance revolution Creamfields HQ are thrilled UNDERWORLD will play the soundtrack to the celebrations on Sunday 24th August alongside the crème de la crème of the globes hottest bands and superstar DJs.

Creamfields 08 marks a decade at the top with an innovative line up to surpass all others. Paul van Dyk and Tiesto are playing their only UK date on the same bill at Creamfields; news to send dance lovers wild as they take their place on the most diverse and highly acclaimed line up this year.

Underworld are true dance music pioneers, spearheading the movement as we know it much like Creamfields has internationally. Karl Hyde and Rick Smith are the duo behind the eponymous Underworld – one of the biggest selling dance acts of all time who launched from clubland into worldwide acclaim when they penned the booming trademark song of film Trainspotting; ‘Born Slippy’.

Underworld frontman Karl Hyde said: “We’re looking forward to playing at Creamfields this year for their 10th Anniversary, we’ve been fans of Cream since the early days, its going to be a great party”

For the first time ever Creamfields 08 will host boutique camping doubling the joy for two exhilarating days of live indie and dance music spread over 10 incredible arenas. The line up speaks volumes and includes KASABIAN, FATBOY SLIM, IAN BROWN, PAUL VAN DYK, TIESTO, SOULWAX, PENDULUM, GOSSIP, SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO, CHIC FEATURING NILE RODGERS, ROOTS MANUVA, ERICK MORILLO, PAUL OAKENFOLD, SASHA, DAVID GUETTA and 2 MANY DJ’S to name but a few.

Underworlds euphoric soundscapes were catapulted into the mainstream over 10 years ago and they have relished their live shows ever since selling out gigs all over the world and remixing for the likes of Depeche Mode, Bjork, St Etienne, Sven Vath, Simply Red and Leftfield.

Maestro of techno Adam Beyer has quite literally shaken the world for over a decade, together with other Stockholm DJs he has shaped and spearheaded the sound of Sweden and the stage is set for one of the most influential producers on the planet.

Skream & Benga presents Magnetic Man are an ideal addition for Creamfields – Cutting edge Skream has remixed for the Klaxons blending indie and dance into dubstep classics, MC’s GQ and IC3 have also been added. They join a line up that fuses genres like never before!

If you are referring to Born Slippy NUXX, I think you'll be quite happy :) I don't think there has been a show in the past 10 years that didn't include .NUXX.

Paul Van Dyke, Tiesto, Morillo, Axwell and the likes have been dominating large events for quite some time now. I am annoyed and tired, not so much by the style of music they play but from the broad association of matters related to their names.
I could go for some Kasabian, Luciano, Pendulum...some dnb perhaps.
UW are like the paternal figures to all these kids in the sandbox :D

Seriously though. Creamfields is one of the classic dance festivals, and it is awesome that UW are there in this, their 10th Anniversary year. Shame I will be in France otherwise I would be making my way up the M6 for it. :D

Carl Cox was there last year n was immense, but it seems a bit silly what your saying, no CC no purchase? So ur willing to spend 115 on a camping ticket or whatever just to see Carl cox? then what? go home? i dont think you can turn ur nose up at this festival because of one person not being there, there's more than enough talent to fill his boots!

i'm all over ittttttt :P
