View Full Version : Arthur C Clarke RIP
Bummer (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7304004.stm)
Incredibly inventive writer and still unbelivable that some of his stuff was written over 50 years ago and fairly accurately described future inventions
RIP :(
:(
What a day! 1st Anthony Minghella and now Arthur C. Clarke... I'm just speechless.

How great a visionary he was! I became an addict through "The Collected Stories of Arthur C. Clarke". "Rendezvous with Rama" is a masterpiece of realistic science-fiction. Next on my reading list are "2010", "2061" and "3001".
