Hi Guys
As most of you are aware there was a couple of issues with some discs on the European leg:-
CD2 of the Koln show with CD1 content, and CD2 of the Brussels show being blank. This is very annoying for those concerned, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
We would like to let you know that very few people have been affected, and we think that everyone who has been affected and has got in touch has been replied to. If we have missed anyone please let us know, it might take a couple of days for us to reply :-0 but if you have a problem we will fix it.
Thanks

ok i know it's all "unwarranted self-important customer" but...
i've got some extra work/cash coming in on march and april (and may, obv. ;) ) and was planning to get as many of these as i could, but i was definitely reconsidering it not just due to problems/errors, but because there seemed to be a desperate lack of correspondence when these issues happened.
but this is way cool of you guys. i'm def. going through with it.

I'm exceptionally pissed off with the Live Here Now lot.
I was told by them in an order dispatch email that the Roundhouse CD had been shipped on 12th March and still nothing. I only live about 30 miles from their Harrow Road office, so a rickshaw would have made it here by now.
I've sent two emails asking them to look into why I've not received anything and still no reply.
Dunno what else I can do

I orderded from Liveherenow 3 times.
All my orders were actually sent 1-2 weeks after their dispatch email and all parcels were sent from Belgium and not from London/UK.

I really hope the band are aware how poor they are and how poor the service they are delivering to their fans is.

mmmh I ordered 2 CD's from them and they came in time so there was no need to contact them. I thought about getting the Gig from Frankfurt once available on their website (or can you buy the CD's locally after the gig as well?) and maybe buy another one from the newer live gigs from this year as well but the experiences posted here make me doubting whether to do it or not.

I have yet to hear of anyone who pays their money and NEVER get's their CD's. So it is worth the wait imo, as it is the only way of getting hold of these gigs (legally).
As I said earlier, it is frustrating to have to wait, but they all seem to turn up in the end. I think my first few took a couple of weeks to arrive last year too.

I'm still waiting on Underworld Live Here Now cds x 2 as well. Paid March 1. Still nothing apart from a March 7 email saying they'd been dispatched. Not good enough. And no replies to emails either. Or contact number on their website. Rubbish

I think LHN could stave off a lot of this hostility with a few simple paragraphs on their site explaining roughly 3-4 weeks for US delivery from purchase date.
Ie: If you ordered on March 1, you should have them in hand no later than April 1.
Also, a phone number wouldn't hurt to ease customer fears/concerns. A lot of us understand that they are a small company, but there is truly nothing more frustrating in online shopping than having concerns about a product you eagerly await and no way to inquire about them.
My final batch were delivered yesterday. ~3 weeks from purchase date. The quality of these discs make them well worth the wait. I just think that the wait needs to be upfront and in writing. Amsterdam is my clear favorite of all the LHN shows.**
**The only show I have yet to hear is the Tokyo one.

OUCH. I hoped to get the recording because they played almost 3 hours with lots of improvisations but I guess you are right because the Frankfurt gig is not mentioned in the list of gigs they have confirmed to be released. Bummer. :(

I have yet to hear of anyone who pays their money and NEVER get's their CD's.
Here's a first then; I've been waiting five months for one of my orders (which consisted of two cd sets). Actually I have those discs now, but only because I ordered them twice. I received a private message through this forum, asking me to mail them the details of the original order so that they could arrange replacement/refund.
So I did that - and haven't heard anything since.
I give up

Dispute the charges for the first order with your credit card company ASAP. You usually have a six month window to dispute charges, and you should have no problem getting your money back.

Thanks for the advice, Todd. You're right, should have done this long ago. Don't know if my bank will help me, but Live Here Now's lack of correspondence should be to my advantage.
I got the Köln discs a while go, but disc 2 turned out to be disc 1 again.
So I mailed to the addy Yan has given us, and got this reply:
Very sorry about the mix up we have had a few of these.
A replacement is in the post.
That was 5 March...
and this was clearly no automatic mail.
I've just sent a reminder:
Dear Sir, Miss,
I have yet to receive this replacement.
Could it be checked that is has gone out yet?
I'm starting to regret buying all these pricey discs from your company...
If you read darktrain.org, you'll find a couple of long outstanding complaints about long delivery times and bad communication.
And this for cd-rs which will fade out in a couple of years anyway...
Or have the gigs been burned on high-quality discs?
Anyway, I would like to receive a replacement disc for disc 2 of Underworld's Cologne gig.

so those of us who preordered the shows from 28th and 29th and then got an email in beginning of february saying that they had shipped... do you think we are going to have a problem with that?

Yeah, I'm wondering too. Given the past track record of approx. 3 weeks to deliver, I would expect them to arrive around now. I'll be really concerned if they don't show up within a week or two.
I haven't received an e-mail despatch notice. The invoice included with my first shipment had a hand-written note indicating that the London shows would ship later. They also seemed to confirm that my Koln replacement discs would ship with my London discs when I actually received an e-mail response from them. Still, nothing's shown up yet.
My final batch were delivered yesterday. ~3 weeks from purchase date.
Does this last batch include the London shows, potatobroth?

I have 'Bang'...I posted the below message in one of the other LHN threads on the forum.
Greetings all,
The London shows arrived in the mailbox today (March 27th). For those interested, I paid for them on March 3rd, received the dispatch email on March 7th. The paper that came with the order states 'page 80 of 96'.
This happened to be the quickest from beginning to end that I've received my order out of the four that I placed with LHN. The others took about 3 to 5 days longer. I live in Phoenix, Arizona. So others stateside should be getting them soon *crosses fingers*.
*notes about the CD*
The Roundhouse 2/28 CD has the club's logo and website on the CD's and packaging.
Everything dated 2007 on other CD's are dated as 2008 here.
-Jason
I haven't had any issues playing them so far, either. The sound quality is just as good as the January shows. The track points seems to properly placed this time around, too. That was a minor nuisance from the Jan. shows. Hope you'll be getting yours soon.

If you aren't getting anywhere with LiveHereNow, I recommend that you get your credit card company / bank involved with resolving the transaction.

If you aren't getting anywhere with LiveHereNow, I recommend that you get your credit card company / bank involved with resolving the transaction.
you would have to claim it as a fraudulent transaction for them to care, if it's a problem with the company then your bank will probably tell you to attempt to resolve it with the company you made the purchase with.
but if you want to claim it as a fraudulent charge, i'd recommend it. spending reasonable amounts of money on products never recieved is bad business no matter the circumstances, it just depends on what you think is a reasonable time to wait.
anyway, from the testimonials i'm opting to not purchase any LHN cd's, the customer service sounds shite and slow as molasses, and the product can just as easily be downloaded without any hassle. so really who can aruge with that? i'd love to support the band, but not if it means i have to be screwed around by unprepared business ventures. sorry!

Yes, when disputing charges, you should always try to work it out with the merchant first. If, however, you are unable to resolve the problem, you can then dispute it with your credit card company for a number of reasons, one of which is non-delivery of merchandise. (You can also dispute for merchandise significantly not as described, and other stuff).
You don't need to report it as fraudulent. Just tell your credit card company that you received no merchandise, tried to contact the company, and received no response. They will open a dispute and initiate a chargeback. The merchant will have a set amount of time to respond to the chargeback. If they cannot prove that they have delivered the merchandise or if they don't respond, you will get your money back.

appeared on credit card: March 31

number of emails sent with no reply: 3 (and counting)
total bollocks.
it's difficult because how else am i going to get these CDs?
fingers crossed that i'll get them before the end of the month. if not, i'm going to my credit card company.
this is my second order with LHN. the first one arrived (eventually) but most of the disk cases were damaged. total crap service, total crap packaging and total crap customer service.

Yeah you're right! They should release these for free. In fact they should release all their albums and cds and dvds for free too. Why should they be allowed to release albums of their concerts which are available at the exit on the night of the concert, then sell them on the internet and then make people have to wait for them and expect them to pay for them too? I think it's disgusting and if I were you I would write to my MP/Senator/Congressman about it. ;)
