From Drowned in Sound back in December:

M83 back with new record after three-year break (http://www.drownedinsound.com/articles/2730233)

Starry-eyed, French whimsy may have been pretty dormant this year, but M83 are back early enough in the next to divert minds from Ed Banger just before it gets boring.
Saturday = Youth is out through Mute on the 15th of April, breaking what’ll be by then a three-year silence since last longplayer Before the Dawn Heals Us.
We found a track from it posted here (http://stereogum.com/archives/new-m83-couleurs_007545.html), at Stereogum.com. ‘Couleurs’ points to more of the same, but sounds different enough to burst rather than bore. It shimmers hard enough to remind me of what I’ve been hearing in Telepathe (http://www.myspace.com/telepathy) the last few months.
Anyway, tracked:
‘You, Appearing’
‘Kim & Jessie
‘Skin Of The Night’
‘Graveyard Girl’
‘Couleurs’
‘Up!’
‘We Own The Sky’
‘Highway Of Endless Dreams’
‘Too Late’
‘Dark Moves Of Love’
‘Midnight Souls Still Remain’

Definitely looking foward to this one... :)

It's free and definately one of the best releases of 2007.

Or am I misunderstanding you and you want the least similar band to M83?

there's an interview about the new album Saturdays = Youth over on pitchfork (http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/page/news/48331-m83-talks-new-album-new-direction-1980s) at the moment and you can listen to a track off the album too...

Yeah, I like it too. None too original, though.

None too original, though.

The last 1:40 of Thieves Like Us (Instrumental) by New Order is like a blueprint for the whole album.
