Does anyone who's been to the Roundhouse know if you can get in downstairs with tickets for the Circle (we used to do it at Brixton Academy but I've never been to the Roundhouse.)

I saw UW in October in Norwich... amazing! It was supposed to be the warm up to seeing them in Amsterdam in November with a Dutch friend. I can't make the new Amsterdam date and really want to see them at the Roundhouse instead. My friend can only make the Friday gig but the only tickets left are in the Circle. Help and advice please! Thanks!

hmm, well they do check the tickets at the entrance of the hall so if you've got tickets for the circle they prolly won't let you in to the main space.

I had a ticket for the circle for one of the gigs as well but I exchanged it with some guy outside the venue for a main space ticket (had to pay extra for it but hey we wanted to be together).

we used to filter people at brixton - you just need to find a willing couple of downstairs holders who can carry 2 tickets up and bring you down 1 at a time!

if you are leaving Chalk Farm Road tube station, and see a white board, with black ink on it...dont look at it.
dont every look at it.
i looked at it on October 19th, and my life has been different ever since.

No more white boards... pleeeeeaaaase! Thanks for advice KoS & //\/\/! Don't think I want to take the risk of having to be upstairs so looks like it's gonna be a Thursday trip after all.... already getting impatient.

I saw the second London gig from the circle at the roundhouse, and I really wouldn't recommend it. You can't really dance, the sound is a lot worse because you are very close to the round wall that's reflecting it, you just don't feel as involved, and worst of all, unless you are very lucky you'll have a pillar between you and part of the stage.

That settles it... better Thursday downstairs without all that than Friday upstairs with it. Dutch Dirty can make Thursday now so no contest... tickets booked and we're on the way! Thanks all
