Okay, just listened, and gotta admit, this kind of freaked me out...it's so dark! Excellent track selection to sustain the mood...lots of deep bass and growling sounds. In particular, that UNKLE track "Burn my Shadow" and Hybrid's "Last Man Standing" are scary!
Question about your Dark Train mix...i heard some extra looped pads (the choral part at the beginning), and maybe some clicks at the end...did i miss other post-production? Sounds like you added something to the start of Faxed Invitation, too...maybe Chorus or doubled-up the track? It sounds thicker.
All in all, a well-made mix that kept me groovin' at work, and might keep me up tonight! :eek:

Yeah, looped the choral Dark Train bit and phased it in and out and made it the intro. The outro clicks you're hearing are part of the Hybrid intro. Faxed intro I flipped the channels, added it in and boosted it a bit then offset it a touch. Also had to speed up the outro from Nightwalker slightly and looped that into the start of Faxed. Otherwise everything else has edits or is basically untouched. Glad you like the mix. :)

Looks really interesting, I'm up for dark, deep stuff. Downloading now. Would've liked to see a bit more variation in artist selection. But hey, I haven't even heard the mix yet :)

I'm 25 minutes into your mix and I absolutely love the vibe and the tracks that are being played. Especially the Pitch Black - Freefall (that's the track with the female/vocoded vocals, right?) track is awesome.

Err, Parts 1 & 2 are a complete different style of mix I did over a year ago. Part 1 essentially being a Rock of Ages with stuff from the 80s until now and Part 2 just a compilation of poppy dance tunes like 19-2000 Soulchild Remix and BRA's Theme from Ghostbuster etc.
