That sucks, I hope everyone is ok. Severe illness, that doesn't sound good.

Take care guys, get well soon.

well Karl did look pretty 'fucked' on Wednesday night and he does go at it all night long...

i could he was sniffing a lot, and sweating loads more than usual...

its prolly a credit that he did last nights show, but maybe thats taken it out of him
...

it was obviously an announcement left til late in the day to see if they could go on with it... but its prolly taken its toll....

its i assume no more than a combination of exhaustion and 'flu'

Karl's nit as young as some of the audience and most of them looked kanckered after two songs.... ;)

hope all is well soon

Sorry for everyone who travelled expressly for this event... that sucks. Hope the band is all getting better... they're a pretty dedicated lot, so I assume this was a pretty rough decision...

I was going to miss the webcast, but I wish the show had gone on.

Munich is the 26th, hopefully all will be well by then. That's really the only break until Nov 11th, so I wonder if they'll try to reschedule this show.

Can someone mail the RTSR list with this info pls? There might be people on that list who are going but aren't checking here ... I tried to do it but it bounced because Yahoo hates Gmail or something like that.

Best wishes from me too, here's to a speedy recovery

Apologies - the date is of course today, 19th OCTOBER 2007 (not September per my original post)

Thank you for your worlds of support.

I was looking forward to the vibes coming across the ocean, but I guess I'll have to make my own tonite. Sending good energy back, with plenty of well wishes.

but i centered my whole friday around this!
kidding...
well, i actually did but it doesnt really matter. was kind of puzzled by the update i saw early morning and "just checking" to see if it were still a go had made it concrete.
i've seen underworld when mr. hyde was sick, and then i saw them when he was not sick.
i think everyone deserves a gig when they're not sick.
get well soon :)

Hopefully it's just something that could be attributed to exhaustion. 12 shows in 15 days would probably knock most people down physically.

Get well all, Jason

man, first the anarchists and now he's sick with something? rick's not having a good time this year, is he? 2007 isn't any great shakes for me either, so i know how he feels.

Shame I was looking forward to watching this gig via the webcast over here in Oz this morning as it's the only one i was free for.

I hope Rick is alright. That guy seems to get hit hard sometimes. It seems like a similar thing happen in 03 around the time of the Electraglide show. Karl mentioned it in a couple of interviews at the time too since Rick was deathly ill from what it sounded like but still went through with performing that night.

Regardless, I hope all is well, and getting better in the underworld camp.

best regards,

I did travel. Im in london right now. Uw's health is way more important... And while it sucks that I missed a sure to be great show, I still met some great Dirts. Wish the best to the UW camp/family. Speedy recovery! I know they wouldn't cancel unless it was really important.

I met: bb, KOs, geo, nderworld+1. Great great people. Fun times even tho it was cut short.

More when I'm not typing from an iPhone. :)

Again, best wishes to those that need them!!!

Some great shots there Geo...makes me miss my second home.
And jealous of the fact I never got to see UW live in their home town...All you dirts look like you had a blast the first two nights.
Was FabricLive an okay substitute on Friday night?

Thx man :)

Well yeah, to me Fabric was a brilliant alternative...
Especially after that one pint of Strongbow, recommended by NDRWRLD ;)
I kinda shaked my ass off to the drum 'n bass kicks..

That's a great set of photos geo/joris :) I like the b/w shots and also I think the blurry/double exposure pix work very well - they sum up the energy of the live experience. It's also nice to see how you spent the days beteween the concerts.
It was good to meet you again - hopefully see you again sometime.

Mille mercis Janie pour la maison, le sourire, et tout et tout... & aussi... Bill Bailey ;)

The walk through London was very very nice, thanks Geo & KoS (& thanks also for the pics)

I arrived @ Fabric quite a long time after you already left (bloody 1h30 queue...) & I didn't like that much this drum n' bass at all floors (even if I left @ 6am though...)

It was great to meet you all & hopefully see some of you again soon here & there in Europe.

All my best wishes to whoever needs them in UW HQ, hope to see you again very soon & a million thanks for these 2 gigs.
