holy poop, there is a chance i might actually be able to make this one. i have to make another business trip out to camarillo next month.

Beyond all expectations, this party was fucking fun. I am stoked.

Oh man that 2nd party was chaos. It was in this crazy warehouse in East LA that stored big paper machie floats for some Dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) parade, so there were big grinning skulls everywhere. Some time around 2:30am some people out on the street (unrelated to the party) shot at some cops. The cops caught one guy, and the other ran into the neighborhood (but not until after he tried getting into our party. Luckily the security bounced him for having a gun!!!) After that, police had the whole area barricaded. They wouldn't let anybody in or out of the party. Captive Audience! Anyway, the music was great, the place was packed, it was rave chaos at it's finest. Word.

Who was playing when the cops had you on lockdown? It'd be mad funny if it was Adam X playing hard as nails (which i'm sure he did anyway).
