The Underworld myspace page has him listed as a band member. Wouldn't that count as credit?

Maybe it would if the MySpace page were actually maintained by Underworld.

My guess: Credit for contributions and assistance, as with many other people. But not a band member.

Darren is also appearing (amongst few other names) in the credits "Underworld Live is : ...."
