Dear Mike

I dunno whether you have any say as to who sells the gig tickets, but if you do, please please never use gigsandtours/seetickets again. The amount of time I have had to waste on phone calls and waiting in the house for tickets to be delivered on the basis of a bunch of complete rubbish I have been told either by their customer service staff or their delivery company has left me in despair.
They won't guarantee delivery for anyone who lives overseas, which means they have to find a UK address for delivery;
They use a delivery service that won't allow you to go to their depot to pick up the delivery if they have called while you are out, for "security reasons"
Instead you have to make an appointment for them to redeliver - the appointment being "any time between 9am and 5pm - we cannot guarantee a time because our agents always change the order of their route for (you've guessed it) security reasons"
Having made an appointment, you can wait in all day and not receive the delivery, only to find that the delivery agent has reported that they had "no access to the building". I was asked if I lived in a block of flats... I live in a semi-detached suburban house on a main road with sufficient drive space to park a lorry if needs be.
If you do have an issue that needs resolving, their customer (dis)service team will tell you a complete bunch of bs just to get you off the phone and the only way of making sure that they have done what you have asked is to keep checking their website until you realise that they will not, in fact, do what you have asked, and phone back again hoping that you will actually get through to someone with a modicum of interest in their job.
If you complain they might agree to send the order by Royal Mail special delivery, but it is a lottery as to whether they will or not - sometimes a customer service agent will agree to it, sometimes they will tell you they can't do it, sometimes the Call Centre Manager will tell you she can't do it because she hasn't got enough staff to "waste their time going through all the envelopes to find those particular ones" when, for exactly the same event, they sent me tickets by Royal Mail Special Delivery ten days ago with no questions asked.Ticketmaster 4tw!

(God I never thought I would see myself type those words!)

I completely agree
SEE tickets are rubbish - its official!
I am in situation where am in 2 jobs one in AM and one in PM.
They will deliver to one or the other but not sgive rough time i.e. AM/ PM
or even take into account that i won't be in one place for half the day
Change delivery adress & its the same probem.
Wont ring back and seem to have a problem with picking up tickets at the venue - AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH
I sympathise with you beautiful burnout

Yer they are shockingly bad. Why they can't just post them out normally is beyond me. Seeing we have to pay stupid fees for apparant handling, i don't really expect to have to alter my day to sign for some tickets. Why can't they even be left with next door?

People can argue that you can buy them at the venue, but amazingly people have jobs and other things to do. And for people like me who are travelling to gigs, its the only way i can safely get tickets.

I bought tickets for 2 of the London gigs.

The venue had no problem posting me a ticket for and charged £1 for doing it.

Seeticket turned buying the other into a rigmarole, made me take a day off work, and charged me £6.15 for doing it.

Hmm.

edit... Norwich venue just charged me £2 and will post the ticket too.

bought from them for a few years and never had a problem (I'm sure typing this means i've jinxed it) although i've heard similar tales of woe from friends regarding see tickets

i had no issue or problem with these tickets... but i can see why others have
