Thanks for the kind remarks! By the way, the "something atmospheric" bit was played prior to the 5/06 LemonWorld broadcast. "Bro the Leggy" is more or less "Beautiful Burnout", but this is the version from 2004, reffered to as Biro by Karl. Also, when i was mixing, i forgot that "Quick Bit of Rope" from the old UWLive ultimately became "Ansum", so that's why the latter track begins in the middle, rather than repeating the same intro.

very nice mix. Thanks!
I find it quite amazing how seemlessly Alabaster White Thing fits in with the current sounds, considering they made that in the 80's.

I love it! "Alabaster White Thing" is indeed incredible. I had to do a bit of searching to figure out what it was ;)

Excellent mix, however I feel more out of the loop than ever for not knowing many of these tracks!

Thanks! I'm glad folks are enjoying this. At least half of these tracks are "deep cuts" from radio shows or B-sides, so no worries if you haven't heard them...maybe it will turn you on to another side of the band!

Cheers,
Holden

Alright, I've listened to this several times now, and it's seriously fantastic. I think if you're introducing someone to Underworld you could get them 1992-2002 (or EE) and this, as this shows a side to the band that isn't normally seen in their live show. Even I didn't recognize all the tracks, which is great! Thanks!

any chance someone could post this somewhere other than sendspace. my network blocks that site, for some unfathomable reason, but i'd really love to hear this mix - i've always preferred the moodier, more atmospheric underworld material

Uploading it to Megaupload now. Is that okay?
I use sendspace a lot because it seems to be the quickest and easiest to Up to and Download from, but i didn't realize it was blocked.

Edit: here's another link:

enjoy!

God bless ya. I'm looking forward to hearing this. Megaupload works fine. Of all those sites it only seems to be Sendspace that my router dislikes. Unfortunately, I'm not in charge of my network, else I'd just bypass it, but there we go

thanks for putting it back up for me!
