yes there is, according to stimpee a few years ago. craft is for mixes & tunes made by dirts (there is a thread entitled "Post your mixes, music, etc here... (http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forums/showthread.php?t=1485)"). the music forum is for talking about Daft Punk and the Chemical Brothers.

i guess if you talked about the tunes in the mix it would qualify for the music forum. honestly, i don't post anything in that 'mixes' thread because it's too long.

I think the mixes thread in the craft forum is obsolete, since everyone just makes a new topic for each track/mix/artwork anyway (which works better than just one thread full of mixes)
AFAIK the craft forum is for posting "creative stuff made by dirts." Whether or not this means mixes as well I don't know, but most people have been posting their mixes there.

I especially loved the final track of this mix btw! A nice case of save the best for last :)

Prof, i am glad you are good friends with stimpee. maybe being good friends with stimpee means he unbuttons his shirt collar and we get to post things where we personally feel they're relevant without being modded all over the place, since he has a problem with 99% of everybody else who disagrees with his categories. IIRC, stimpee was the one who argued for a "craft" forum, where we could 'conveniently locate all homemade mixes and tracks', despite the fact that, as you say, and i said at the time, talking about music qualifies for the "music" forum, not to mention makes it more interesting. i just wanted to point out this contradiction on his part, thanks. the good shit that you have to offer does not bother me in & of itself.

If you hadn't bumped your mix I would never have found it, Shane, cos I look at the "headlines" in Headset and read if its a new band or someone I need more news of. Not worth arguing over, fo sho, but maybe it would be better in craft in future, cos I always look in there for yours and anyone elses mixes. :)

you know what, i do apologize for making a big stink in public. it probably should have been a PM ... although i didn't really think it was a big enough deal to justify a PM -- and i realize i come across as if i have a horrible grudge that needs to be settled (which isn't really the case). oops! anyway, as you know, i'm confrontational, and sometimes i like that, but other times it just causes everyone (incl. myself) a lot of undue stress. i'm sorry!
