View Full Version : Remixes - who's hot...???

big screen satellite

well it looks like the first single is on the way... assuming its getting a full remix treatment - who's hot enough to provide us with some kicking mixes of Crocodile???

who've the boys at UW HQ got in to mix this... or who'd you want to see remix this...???

seriously...

maybe Heller has been asked again as he's been earwiggin on the album... i hope so, because his mixes of Peggy Sussed were top notch...

The best remixer for Underworld is...Underworld. You end up with whole new songs.

DFA would be fun, but they should do TMO with all the cowbells.

if it had to be from DFA, i'd prefer a Juan Mclean mix over a Goldsworthy/Murphy mix.

if there's a skream mix, i'll personally punch rick and karl in the nuts.

good call on Serge Santiago though, that's what i meant by RadioSlave.

Charlie May = Spooky so yeah, agree with that too. He owes UW a mix or 2.

King Roc is a great call too. his remix of True Faith is phenomenal.

Besides Born Slippy 2003, when was the last time Underworld remixed one of their own tracks? A few mixes back in the Beaucoup Fish days, almost 8 years ago?

I liked the Futureshock remixes of Cowgirl and Jumbo. I'd look forward to a new one from them.

Some of mine have been mentioned already, but...

Carl Craig

Radio Slave
Slam
Serge Santiago
Ripperton
Alex Smoke
James Zabiela

As much as I want to suggest someone like Boys Noize, Switch, Erol Alkan, SebastiAn, etc. - I can't see it working with this track in particular!

Everytime this kind of thread comes up I say:
cEvin Key/Download
I want him to take on one of the boys more ambient tracks so bad. I'd love to hear a cross between Underworld and Download's "Effector" album.

Yannick

that would be quite nice actually, just got into the cEvin Key stuff not too long ago

Dinosaur Adventure 3D had the RCM version, presumably Rick's Club Mix. Not so much a remix, but some differences in the chords.

these are absoluletely spot-on choices. Huntemann is working magic right now, Ame straddles a compelling line between deep house, tribal and deep techno, brilliant sounds.

Pete Heller has the connection and his work on Peggy Sussed actually makes his version the ultimate version. Misterons....very clever.

nice choices Jose.

Heller for sure... his work with Pricey is testament to their close links since Peggy... i'd like a Sven Vath remix myself... Misteron's yeah.. Mr & Misteron Christmas maybe

Hi everybody! This is Oliver Huntemann who remix Crocodile. And you can listen to it on www.myspace.com/huntemann (http://www.myspace.com/huntemann). Reminds me a lot of his chemical brothers remix.

while we're on the subject of new tracks - should we be sharing released materials here?

especially new stuff - i kinda thought there was a unwritten rule that we didn't...

(not that i didn't click the links... its just a word of warning if thats the case...)

I think a stream on a myspace page is fair game.
