Just dug out the John Peel Tribute version of Biro the Leggy, which we were calling Biro the Leggy Jam at the time, and it sounds almost exactly like what we have heard at Cocoon and Knebworth (minus the random asian guy voice sample).
Main difference: the Peel version has it starting off very ambiant and going into the drums afterwards, whereas at Knebworth the two "parts" were less pronounced - it started off with a cracking beat (comes in about 6:30 on the Peel version), with the vocal overlaid onto it, then the heavy drums (which comes in at about 7:00 on the Peel version) came in after the vocal.
Gorgeous track.
Cannot wait for this album!!!!!!!!!1111ONES
Released 2 days before the Roundhouse dates - I'll be queued up outside Virgin Megastore that morning like a Potter fan! :D
Edit: dunno why I've got the Peel Tribute version tagged as Biro the Leggo. Wasn't me. Honest! :p

Such a great, melancholy track!
If memory serves, after the track was played on John Peel show, Karl said "That was 'Biro the Leggy', something Rick pulled out of the archives from the Hundred Days Off era"

yea - there also was a video posted on UW live a looong while back of R+K in the studio mucking about
the audio for the video was an excerpt of the 'bleeps' (and some light percussion, if memory serves me) that are present in both Mo Move and Biro the Leggy
...as Mo Move is what evolved from BtL
you can also hear elements of it from the Electraglide show back in... I forget the year - but it would've been sometime post-Emerson and definitely pre-AHDO
and no - I wouldn't even mind at all if Beautiful Burnout turned out to be the exact same track as BtL ...as I loved that track
even though the ambient intro with the spoken word section does go on a bit long

Yep! That's the one! - well the ambiant bit of it - but that bit from Karl was from one of the first Lemonworld broadcasts I think. Might even have been the very first "Mr and Mrs Christmas invites you..." one. :)
Edit: Posts crossed in the post Joethelion :p - Yeah, I love the ambiant version, but I really really love the drums on the "live" version we've been hearing too. Got a nice, earthy, world music feel to them.
