WWE wrestler Chris Benoit killed his wife on Friday, his 7 year old boy on Sat/Sun , then hung himself on Monday. Hope the devil slams him on his head for all eternity for doing this.:(

Did he suplex his kid? Or maybe he used the figure 4 leg lock?

It doesn't indicate cause of death in the article. I've also been digging for information as I'm curious (and a closet wrestling fan admittadly :o), and I'm really hoping that they have it backwards, that Benoit's wife poisoned the family or something. Regardless, this is indeed a tragedy, and something to be mourned. People sometimes hit incredible lows and they need help to manage the situation. Perhaps if he would've recieved or sought help, this could've been avoided.
None the less, I can't imagine that WWE will be beating its chest for weeks over this like they did with Eddie Guerro. It's very hard to celebrate the life of a murderer. Tonight's ECW episode will indicate what's in store for WWE's commemorations I'm sure, and if the autopsies do in fact get released today, I'd wager that WWE will try its hardest to seperate itself from this incident if the findings are "unfavorable".
I'd also like to say that in addition to all else, I'm particularly saddened at the millions of kids around the world that will have to cope with the fact that one of their heroes was a murderer. Benoit was always painted as a hard-working person who stood for righteousness and excellence, and you know that there are going to be a lot of heartbroken kids.
Just came across this (http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8Q0KO801&show_article=1), which says he strangled his wife, smothered his son, and then hung himself. It also says they're investigating whether or not it may have been a case of roid rage. Messed up stuff.

Yeah, b/c pro wrestling is fake and purely entertainment. UFC news does belong in Technique b/c it is a real sport and involves such a high level of physical and mental toughness that you simply have to call those guys athletes and not merely performers. Go take a Jiu-Jitsu class or two and you'll see for yourself.;)

so the story of the UFC fighter promised an extra sum of $, paid by the promoter, if he ended the fight a certain way, doesnt take away any of the scritpiness ?
new news...the steroids found, were for his wife and or 7 year old son.
seems his son was ' smaller than the family wanted ' ...
god damn parents just wont let their kids grow up to be who they are anymore.
either way, a very disgusting scenario.

Man, I called that one. ECW began with Vince McMahon apologizing for the tribute show last night and then saying that aside from his comments that there would be no mention of Chris Benoit in the show.
Which is fine by me, considering that the guy isn't fit to lick the dog shit off of a beggar's boots, let alone be continually mentioned over and over.

No. That was Rampage Jackson who was offered $15,000 for losing and $10,000 for winning....but he took the $10,000 and won the fight. Shit like that is how Dreamstage Entertainment let Pride fall apart like it did. Some of the crazy ways these MMA fights end simply can't be faked (injuries, people knocking themselves out during a huge slam, etc) and I believe the emotions they feel after a fight are genuine. If it's fake they all deserve acting awards for sure!
Back on topic: What a sick fucker. Kiddie roids?!?:mad::mad:
So many layers with this story , seems his son was suffering from Fragile X Syndrome, an inherited form of mental retardation often accompanied by autism. Seems there was the steriod abuse and some violence issues as well.

Yeah, that really is a crying shame. As a parent I'd just explain to him that a number of different factors contributed to this tragedy but among them was the fact that alot of harmful drugs had been introduced into his system over the course of his life. Might be a good opportunity to put in an anti-drug and substances blurb. :)
