Nope, 2 more seasons have been confirmed. At least that's what I read. And they are planning on wrapping it all up.
Not that I care. I gave up on it in season 2...

48 more episodes after the finale this season was something I read. Can't wait...the last few episodes have been awesome, tonight's being the best in a long time. Anyone else catch it?

Yep. Actually it's three more seasons of 16 episodes each (no mid-season breaks) and the finale to air in 2010. And they appear to have dropped the idea of having a movie for now.
I think season 2 became a bit slow and bogged down in the middle, and I can see why a lot of people gave up on it back there. But IMO season 3 has upped its game considerably.
I have to admit though, it's hard to see how any overall finale can satisyingly pull all the loose ends together and still surprise us. People have been speculating about whether it's a dream, whether they're in a reality show, whether they're all dead etc for a while now (in fact the last episode I saw was the first time characters actually alluded to this), so to use any of those would in some ways be a bit disappointing.

don't believe me, but i read that ther're comming 22 more seasons.
caught up with season 3 now and it was a big improvement in the latter half
my wife & i gave up watching halfway through the second series as it got a bit tired but a mate had the dvds so i borrowed them (although my wife refrained from watching them) and quite enjoyed series 3
series 4 starts here in the UK on sunday and i'm somewhat happier now that they've announced there's only 3 season's to go (including this one) of 16 episodes each and that there will be answers and a conclusion.
how satisfying that conclusion will be though is another matter i suppose...

From what I can gather, the writers strike means this one's going to run out of episodes mid-season - nothing else has yet been filmed.
I almost wish they'd waited tbh (almost, but not quite!) The break in Prison Break had me scratching my head trying to remember precisely what had previously occurred.

I can't be arsed with the thing, it started when i was on holiday and i tried watching it but got utterly confused with all the goings on. If it ever gets released one day in a giant boxset i'll probably watch it then. I can live without it, its only a TV show. Isn't it?
if you haven't seen any of it yet i wouldn't bother - it's throwaway tv; entertaining whilst its on but not in the same league as the likes of the sopranos and the west wing...
