Jesus!
Haven't been to Knebworth since 1979, when I saw Led Zepp there (last gig they did with John Bonham).
This is awesome. I knew it would be worth the wait :D

as headliners - my best guess is anywhere between 1.5 & 2.5 hours
as most of teh otehr artists are djs and they tend to do 1 or two hour sets...

Got mine too - was hoping to be able to make it a family thing, but no kids allowed, so rick gets to do the babysitting again. Shame. ;)
Really looking forward to this!
Better buy your tix quick,
as this might be their only UK gig for this year,
according to this site:

disgusting line up !
i demand UW fly me ( and my gf, of course ) to this.
because you have not yet announced a Toronto date this year.
if and only if you announce a Toronto date for 2007 will i ' let ' you off the hook for what could only be a massive amount of mr robert deniro$ to fly us out there for this gig.
but to all who are attending this...have a fantastic time.
it seems that Canada loves festivals like vFEST, but then screws it up by only letting the Flaming lips play for 3 or 4 songs ( cuz its 11 pm, and the babies are sleeping ).
i dont want to hear a bloody single person here complaining that this is the only UK gig announced.
we here in Canada have plenty of space for such outdoor events, as Glastonbury, Homelands...argh.
we as music fans only wait for the powers that be, to wake the *cough* up and bring us what we have been waiting for.
Underworld....dont ever do Vfest.
sorry...rant is done.

Hello,
On the wild in the country website, it says this;
Underworld
Underworld have always shunned the idea that they are 'just a band'. Joining the dots between genres, they constantly challenge the ways in which they write, record and perform live, changing pace and direction when people least expect it. 2007 will be no exception and is set to be a big year for Underworld. Their fifth studio album is in the pipeline, and with a world tour being locked in from September onwards, their WITC appearance will likely be the first UK outing for some of this new material. See you down the front!
... thought it was interesting, given it mentions a world tour , so maybe not their only UK appearance. It does stress 'only UK festival appearance' all over the site.

Good point :) Let's hope that is the case!

I think the UK tour will come after the USA dates maybe in Oct/Nov. If theres an album theres sure to be a UK tour. Dunno if i can make it to this gig though I'd like to.

Fuck it better not be in early October. I'm off to Thailand from Oct 1st-15th. I'll cry if they announce dates then. Just wanna see them at an UW gig and not a festival!

Mmmmm... nowhere really to stay... but I notice event is 6pm - 6am which makes hotel rooms kinda pointless.
Why did all my pals go to London, then feck off again :D
I'm assuming a big dirty meet. If I come I'll be on my todd (nae mates)
Has anyone else done anything about this yet (apart from everyone who's already at Beautiful Burnouts ;)) ... considering I'll be travelling down from yorkshire and can pick up on the way.
...still velly tempted though...
