Sorry if I'm late to the party, but in my Dirty travels I've seen this mentioned here on more then one occasion. I just never had the strenght to click on a thread. :(

Now that I've seen the trailer to this sure-to-be-incredible flick, is it really released everywhere except the States? If so, what is the point of that? Why do the producers of this movie hate America?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

It's coming out in September in the US, I guess because all the other good slots are taken until then.

September is also a dumping ground for movies not expected to do well, so make of that what you will.

I'm also really hopeful that it will be awesome, but I suspect the preview is strongly enhanced by the Requiem for a Dream score.

So tired of that goddamn song. LOTR used it in previews too. Not to mention anyone who's seen Requiem probably doesn't want to hear it considering it was used 10 times in the movie. Can't we find another song?

I know. It's a good song but it's played out now....it's even been used in one of the later scenes of Smokin' Aces!:rolleyes:

What, the score or the movie? I've also just come back and i was not disappointed by either of them.
The score was definately more electronic than B&E, but still you couldn't expect a 4/4 beat.
I had the impression that UW contributed pieces like Heal and Restore, Small Conkers and a Twix and a few more... and John Murphy the more orchestral pieces in between. But still it's a traditional soundtrack and not one which is made up of different songs.
Overall it really contributed to the film and the visual experience.

The Sound was great. I loved to hear Peggy Sussed at the end. But the Movie was a big dissapoitment to me, especially the last 20 minutes.

Ugh they used that same friggin Requiem song for next week's Lost preview. It's like you can't avoid it.
