Who else watches this? I absolutely love it. The three hosts (Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May) work so well together and they make every show hilarious.
I know people who hate it, because it's not really a serious show about cars. But come on, they only drive expensive supercars in it. It's not supposed to be informative and serious. There are other shows that give objective reviews of the latest Kia Sorento or something, but Top Gear isn't about that.

I really love it. Though it might not be a serious show about cars, you should give them credit that the really criticize some cars. If you compare it to the supposedly more serious shows it seems to me that those shows are one lickfest of the carbrands that are presented. You seldomly hear a critical note.

they do not *only* test supercars. there are some shows where they tested your average middleclass car, as well as small cars, and i must say that some of their "tests" show more about the actual pros and cons of the car than other car shows, which merely read out the factsheet while driving around.

of course the show's main point is in testing supercars, since it's one of the few shows that can actually afford testing them.

sure, it's entertainment at its best, but isnt that what cars are all about? entertainment? i love it, although some parts of the latest season seemed to be a bit too scripted and contained less spontaneous jokes.

I totally agree with you guys. The other shows don't really seem to give an opinion, but merely name the facts. And yes, the cars they drive are all about entertainment. I also quite enjoy their funny specials and gags, like the episode where they buy $ 1000 cars in Miami and drive to New Orleans. Or the one where they build a space shuttle out of a Reliant Robin and actually launch it :D

Love it. Good music on the show too. It's weird watching a Euro show in the US and hearing Boards of Canada while they're driving around a supercar.
