That's right. There's a movie about the rise and fall of Milli Vanilli (http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=entertainmentNews&storyid=2007-02-15T132919Z_01_N14422406_RTRUKOC_0_US-MILLIVANILLI.xml&src=rss&rpc=22) in the works. No word on the target release date yet.

as shocking as it sounds...

i actually want to see it.

i hope its not another 'rockstar'.

wouldn't it be cool if the milli vanilli characters were the wayans brothers?

I'm actually kind of surprised it took so long for someone to make the movie, in a way...

Wasn't their Vh1 "Behind the Music" the first one ever done?

I think that as long as they made the movie long enough to cover their entire career - like including when they tried to come back as "Rob & Fab" or whatever and the suicide of (forget his name - I just remember that he did it right after he filmed his Behind the Music interview) it might actually be a good movie

now... if it's just -
'hey we want a record deal' 'so we have to lip sync to be famous?' 'oh crap, we got caught' 'well - now life sucks'

then it'll be boring as hell

Not at all joethelion, I've heard the film will show the pawns that were made out of them for someone else's wealth.

I hope it brings attention to the one that's still alive making music. Very different from what was Milli Vanilli. It's not my taste, but he's very talented at what he does as far as song writing goes. I think he still does regular showings in southern cali. at light night jazz/folkie/coffee shop settings.
