keeping track as always...
while dirty was down he put up a numbered series of lines that sounded like lyrics (and good ones too) and visited the set of 'breaking and entering'

here's a good update, says we might get some internet goodies in the near future...

It's been great to read about the progress in the studio and preparations for the live goodness. Bring it on! :)

a recording of their studio sessions would be nice, you don't get that very often!

its the "will this recording see the light of day? maybe caught in the internets?" that interests me. this could mean that their rehearsals for the tour could be released on uwlive.com or on dirtyradio.

Yeah, the snippets Karl posts on UWLive have always been fun, if a little cryptic. But lately they seem pretty clear...all signs point to exciting UW music soon!

I really love how underworldlive is keeping us all informed about the preparation of the tour. This is what makes underworldlive.com really cool.

now i'm curious :D
are you going by balloon? or chopper?
not going to be in Sofia, but i'll be there in Gelsenkirchen and Amsterdam.
There's going to be a dirtymeeting of at least 18 dirties/RTSRpeople in Amsterdam, some of the diehards will be there :D
Any chance of meeting you and Rick? ;)
we'll let you know we're there :D

have a great tour!!!!

It's to late to travel there on elephants so it is something motorized for sure.
Have a great travel and tour.
Gelsenkirchen and Amsterdam for me too, wish I could do more but you know.. work.. :s Melt! for the place where it is, Sofia for the fantastic city it is, Poland looks like a great gig, and Sizget.. an Island full of festival, everybodys dream I think ;)

UWlive today: record a jam... cameras to film it...

We'd really like that, wouldn't we? :D

This would make an interesting document, what with Pricey in the process of integrating into the Underworld live show.

So, any bets as to how this will find it's way into the world (if indeed it does)?

it'll show up on UW live if the usual pattern is followed...although they haven't posted aything new there for a long while...

it won't be a viable release, more like a web thingy...

Stop sending negative vibes! ;)

I'm glad they made something out of this day after all. I was going to the concert today otherwise.. Pity Liepzig is far away and rather big so it won't be easy to find and sneak in the loud place.

Today the OOR journalist can see how bored everyone was at the HMH concert ;)

Great to see how it looked from the stage! The vibe in the moshpit was great. And it was hot indeed..
Would have been fun to meet and greet, but if not, then not, no problem for me.

Can this thread be made sticky please?

The people I was there with are most long time fans and improv crazy. From what I remember of the converstation during those, they loved it :) To me they are always extra songs we didn't hear before and (what is always the second reason I tell people why I love underworld) are created at that moment. Getting Pricey aboard is great I think. It was fun to see Rick laugh when Darren improv'ed through the vocoder :)
One of the better interview with you guys was the one vpro telly did around the '99 013, tilburg concert where there was a tour through the then new Tomato building and Rick tells about producing dancemusic.

Thanks for the photo update, only a bit was showing of the one at that date. But what was more interesting was the story about it ;) We're all jalouse on the builders...

its sad that the shows have to be stuck into small timeslots like that. an UW show needs time to stretch its legs and room to run around.

but thats cool that you 3 managed to find a few minutes here and there to eek out a few extra sounds.

japan tour?
much more?

mhmm... i'm sure are anticipating and appreciating stuff :)

btw: karl, speaking of boats in your pic: did you know that 40min ahead your position while shooting todays pic, there's an underground river just under the tracks :)
