Yeah, the music is from "requiem for a dream", it's been overused in movie trailers about eight bazillion times. I look forward to hearing the real tunes from the boys.

there is a clip from the film up. short but pretty cool. most notable, the scoring underneath. small taste of some gentle, lovely stuff.

According to IMDB and Wikipedia, the film's been pushed back till fall 2007 for the U.S. :( Dunno if that will affect international release dates or the release of the soundtrack.

unlikely as its already had magazine reviews and previews here and as such the current release dates are set in the UK. i'd assume therefore that the soundtrack here will be released at the same time still

New trailer ("Extended") for the U.S. release is here:

It contains some Underworld music. For example, the music for the first 8 seconds of the trailer is the same little instrumental interlude between Jumbo and Rowla at the 2005 Electraglide Tokyo show. Not sure about the rest of the music, but it could be the Underworld soundtrack up until the 2:41 mark when "Requiem for a Tower" kicks in.

It's 4.5 minute trailer, so it shows a lot more about the movie than any of the other trailers.

The soundtrack will be released on iTunes only? Damn, I was hoping for some cool "sun" artwork on some sort of physical release...
Buying on iTunes is like selling your soul to the devil (at least for me)! I'm proud that I've never bought from iTunes yet. Of course I will eventually buy it as there is no legal alternative... But I will have supported Apple :eek: :(.
Ah whatever... QTFairUse6 will solve at least the DRM problem. :D
What's the reason that people buy from iTunes anyway? When I want 128 kbps AACs (what will surely never happen as quality actually matters to me) I convert my FLAC archive to that format! And CDs are just as expensive as iTunes, sometimes even cheaper, and have artwork.
