'it was his intoduction to dance music, the first time he heard "cowgirl" by underworld, and jason became obsessed with it"

i had heard that they were big underworld fans from some friends of the band so now we have it from the horses mouth !:)

That's cool...glad they got inspiration from a great source!

That said, i wish Scissor Sisters would retire. Ick.:p

A collaboration would be awesome. Am I the only one that thinks so?

They're like the new era BG's. Or that's what that single sounds like. I can't stand it to be honest. But nice to hear they dig Underworld.

I like them as well, but i still thinks their first album is way better.

I haven't heard the new one. I'm a bit scared too simply because I enjoyed the first one so much.

First Album > Second Album, but if you haven't got the 2nd album, get "She's My Man" and listen to it - it's pure awesomeness.

In fact, the first half of the 2nd album is pretty good, but agreeing with Pitchfork here, the 2nd half is just bland.

Anyway, I saw them live here after the release of the 1st album, and it was fantastic. I highly recommend going if they come by. I would see them again no questions, but I guess one visit to orlando is enough for them!

are they not from Florida themselves... or am I thinking of someone else...

(maybe... i'm confusing them with that lot at the magic kingdom... ;) )

I caught them in a tiny venue in Birmingham before it all kicked off for them. Was about 30 people in the audience including Stuart Price/Jacques Lu Cont as SS were supporting Zoot Woman (who, incidentally, are pretty rubbish live). That was pretty much pure awesomeness, yes.

EDIT: I like Anna on New Order's Jetstream, oh yes that was bomb.
And yes I like new album from S Sisters for sure;)
