heard about it from the 'a different drum' email list. for $20, you can get 'second toughest in the infants' and 'beaucoup fish'. there was no mention of additional packaging or bonus tracks or anything like that.

is this sort of thing an official release or just a case of somebody who had a bunch of each album to sell getting creative?

It's quite possible that it's legitimate. I know at my local music store (in Canberra, Australia), they have a display unit set up with some double-album box sets. One of them is BF and STITI. The selling price was an absolute bargain at $18 too, I was thinking of nabbing a few copies just to give to friends to introduce them to UW. ;)

It all looked fairly legit to me - there were sets for other artists too, all with the same style of packaging - plus the record store itself has never sold anything dodgy that I know of before.

Edit: Found the box set I was referring to (http://www.sanity.com.au/product.asp?intProductID=617562&intArtistID=8906). I think you can safely assume that the person who made the listed tracklist is an idiot, rather than "STITI: Medley" being the name of an actual track.

yeah the medely in question is banstyle / sappys curry...

its a twin set compilation...i think the CD's are geniune issues...but the tracklisting on the 'new' designed oustide may be wrong...well the medely bit...

i'll let you know when i get mine ;)

I suspect that it will just be regular issue CDs with a cardboard slip case round it to try and flog a few more cds. It might be a nice 2CD-box tho.

the Australian V2 version of STITI (marketed and distributed by festival Mushroom Records) cat number 337242

the Australian V2 version of BF (marketed and distributed by festival Mushroom Records) cat number 337202

the slip case has the mis-labeled Track 4: Medley: STITI

the two CD's come in a slip case with the cat number: 338862


it looks like an official V2 'bundle' - although the scanned image of the STITI album on the box is pretty poor quality, but all the label and copywrite info looks ok on the sleeves and discs...
i think this is a genuine re-packaged bundle set - well worth getting cheap if you can... (if you don't already have it)

there are NO NEW TRACKS or EXCLUSIVES on these CD's ;)
