Hey all,

Last night i had a little fun mixing a few favorite older tunes. The idea was to include some club-friendly "hits" but still build to a darker/heavier end. Short, sweet (?), and to the point...Hopefully it'll get you dancing! :)

Bright Night - continuous mix by AViD. 6-15-06

"Stars Shine Bright" - BLANK & JONES
"You Lot" - ORBITAL
"It Began in Afrika" - CHEMICAL BROTHERS
"Bad Girls Go to Hell" - HAKIM LIDBO+2KH
(Phunk Investigation mix)
"Lovebox" - GROOVE ARMADA
"Never Gonna Come Back Down" - BT
"Intensify -Part 1" - WAY OUT WEST
"Cowgirl" - UNDERWORLD (Bedrock mix)

Cowgirl (Bedrock Mix) is one of the most fierce tunes of all time.

Just giving this its first listen through and, considering how dog tired I am after a full-on working week, it has me dancing. Nice choice of track - love You Lot in there, gives it a nice edge. Thanks for this, Dr H. :)

Edit: Listened to it on replay all evening. If you haven't grabbed this set yet, DO IT NOW! Full of energy, well mixed, well chosen. Well done!

Full of energy, well mixed, well chosen. Well done! Exactly like Janie said! ;) The Bedrock mix of "Cowgirl" is great & Fluke always rules! Thanks a lot for sharing this.

ps : btw what does "o krasce a netvorovi" mean? (the name of the mix when you open it to iTunes)

Thanks for the kind comments! As for the name in iTunes, i have no idea what that is...it's the tag that Winamp decided on when it "looked up" the CD with my mix when i burned it to mp3. Whatever it is, i doubt it sounds anything like this!

P.s. some folks have had trouble downloading from sendspace because of "no available free slots". I've re-upped the mix to megaupload, so maybe that will work better!
