i am certainly looking forward to this animation too...

like i said in another thread, all the best movies this year appear to be original (non remakes, non sequel) animations:

Over the Hedge, Cars, The Wild, and this, Open Season

all of which i will see (except the Wild, which is just a better version of Madagascar) at the Cinema, especially as my little girl who is 4 is getting excited for these movies, as much as me, (we have already started getting hold of the Pixar Cars, vehicles).

lets hope this is a sign of things to come too, already looking forward to Shrek 3, next year as well!!

more animations i'm looking forward to that i failed to mention above, include the Ant Bully, Happy Feet and Barnyard which looks really funny...and obviously next year the Simpsons...(and my little girl is looking forward to Brother Bear 2 and the Little Mermaid on DVD....), plus previously mentioned Ratatouille

some of these do kinda look like retreads, and / or all feature animals on quests / adventures, but they all do look kinda fun and mostly are original in what they are trying to achieve...

at least none are remakes or sequels...
