i was rather non-plussed by this book as it just seemed to be ambling along but then fuck me, the last few chapters...:eek:

definitely the saddest of the books so far and i hope she doesn't take another two years to write the final chapter

part of me is hoping that the people who have died will make a return in the next book although i think that is unlikely - still think sirius' death was a bit suspect and that he may yet return

and despite their actions towards the end, i still think the half blood prince may turn out to be an a good guy and have had their reasons for what they did

Right up front with y'all, i haven't read the book. My girlfriend is a big fan, though.

As amusement, i tease her a little and tell her that i know who the Half-Blood Prince is, and just pick random characters, or make up my own plotline...like "Ron was killed by Hagrid...who's really the Prince, but disguised as Hermione".

She doesn't like when i do that much. :p ;)
