yea...

I've got to say - that this is the best sequenced RR of the three. It just flows so nicely and naturallly, you know?

and so far - it's the only one where I haven't skipped over a track after the third listen

I'm considering not splitting it at all. this one really flows. I didnt like it at first. way too mellow but now its sunk in.

Yeah, this really flows nicely. Splitting the tracks of RR3 is maybe useless...
I really enjoy that mix between Peach Tree and Moved Path;)

I'm probably also not going to split it, but there are always people who appreciate a nicely done cuesheet. ;)

i'm thankful for all 3 RR releases. a few years ago, when Rick mentioned they had tons of ambient material just sitting around, lots of us here loudly cried for those tracks to come out. now that they have, not so many people are still singing their praises. i absolutely love the RR series and thank R+K+Tomato for making these tracks available and going the extra mile to provide slideshows/photos etc. No, there's nothing here that rivals Dirty Epic or Luetin, but that wasn't the point to begin with.

a tip of the cap to the UW crew for the past few months of goodies: 3 RR releases (and 1 to come), several Live sessions/DJ sets, loads of great free UW live tracks and a good amount of videos...and the Tokyo discs on Ebay that were not supposed to be sold outside of the festival. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

bring on that remix 12" with the Wighnomy/Robag mix of Play Pig!

NOW!

i agree with this comment. i did not like it at first, but it has sunk in. i think i underestimated the first track (foot already in mouth) but still stand by my original comments that i think these tracks are underdeveloped.

also, track 4, with the vocals, i skip everytime. i personally do not like this one.

after P4E, i was ready for some bumpier, speedier, harder tracks. then we got forewarning that the next installment was going to be just that. so once the previews were up on UWlive, i was disappointed that this wasnt the case. UW puts together great mellow, ambient sounds but 5 in a row is just for my tastes.

track 4 is my least favorite of the bunch, (I think it's just the 'melody' that throws me off,) though I love the slow, crawling, stretched out percussion near the end of it. The vocals are interesting -- and I think the "I'm a princess" sample really fits here. I usually find myself skipping it though.

The rest of it is sublime.

I'm still waiting for this one to sink in, maybe I haven't given it a listen in the right context yet. Very thankful for all the RR releases though... I sense there's some great things yet to come. R&K are definitely exploring some new ground. :)
