I go to this store I've frequented for over ten years now since I got into laserdiscs called Trilogy. It used to be in a house for almost twenty years and has since moved to new digs in Northwest Portland, just two blocks down from it's old location. It's a wonderful little place that has so much.

Then there are torrent files on the internet when something perks my interest that I may not be able to locate on video before it's theatrical release like 2046 last fall or most recently Old Boy and Eros.

i've never rented a DVD... last time i rented a VHS was about 15 years ago...



If i haven't been to see a movie, then I just buy it or wait til they come onto Sky / Sky Box Office...

Cinephilia in uber-trendy Moseley, South Birmingham.

Doesn't stock much mainstream stuff, mostly art-house, indie and foreign language films. Plus cult classics. It's a good rental place!

I figured my previous responses were way too corporate yuppie for living in austin so, just for the record, here is where i would rent if i lived close enough to them: I Luv Video, Vulcan Video. they are both awesome and really cater to film geeks.
