One small thing I've noticed:
The Underworldlive page for the new EP says 30'34" audio (mp3) and the artwork above it says 25'07". I thought maybe that it includes the audio from the Quicktime but remove that and its 24'10". So lets hope we get 36'58" in total eh? :)
Meanwhile, we have 4 tracks and 5 mins of new Underworld teasers to keep us going for a few days.

i wonder how we could shorten that monster of a name?
LBT and P4E were easy... what about IABSAIAGAIAPATIMH? :D
I really like Mowed Path, it sounds great and the title instantly reminded me of the lawn mower on the Born Slippy cover.:o

Oh wow, these are lovely previews! As if there was any doubt that i'd buy the RR3, these tracks confirmed it'll be well worth it! "Peach tree" sounds epic. Thanks to whomever decided to put these up early (aNt? R&K?) on UWLive :)

is it just me or does Showlder sound a bit like Dinner at Rod's? *crosses fingers* I reallly hope I'll finally be able to snag a full length version of the track
...or at least whatever that track evolved into

interesting that seemingly none of the new live tracks seem to be on this release. Let's hope this means that there will be more riverruns following this one....

press release:
Underworld continue the riverrun project with download 3 “I’m a Big Sister, and I’m a Girl, and I’m a Princess, and this is my Horse” being available from 5th June at www.underworldlive.com. With 2 film soundtracks, remix packages, writing for the forthcoming studio album, and their cult broadcasts from their studio yet to come, it’s going to be a busy summer for Messrs Smith & Hyde.
There are few bands who could do this. In November 2005, Underworld announced the first in a series of download only (www.underworldlive.com) releases under the Riverrun banner. “Lovely Broken Thing” was swiftly followed only weeks later with the second in the series “Pizza For Eggs”. Stylistically two very different pieces, but uncompromisingly Underworld in sound and approach. Underworld are now ready with the third in the series, titled “I’m a Big Sister, and I’m a Girl, and I’m a Princess, and this is my Horse”. Out on June 5th, again as a download only package via www.underworldlive.com, “I’m a Big Sister….” explores the darker, moodier, more ambient side to Underworld. Constructed from 5 entirely new pieces, the 30-minute mix is bundled with an audio-visual slide show of text and images and CD artwork.
"the riverrun series has been a huge success for rick and i.taking music from the studio and putting it out into the world in a matter of seconds has been something we've longed to do. creativlely we get to write and publish new work in ways that suit us, offering a much needed alternative to our traditional album scheduling."– Karl Hyde
This release will be followed on July 10th with a retrospective look at the first 3 Riverrun releases – dubbed the Misterons Mix – which will be free to download to all who have bought the first 3 Riverrun releases. At around 30 minutes, the Misterons Mix will include a digital gallery of photographs and CD artwork. During the latter part of 2005 and the beginning of 2006, Underworld have collaborated with composer Gabriel Yared (http://www.gabrielyared.com) on the score for Anthony Minghella’s new film “Breaking & Entering”. Staring Jude Law, Juliette Binoche, Robin Wright Penn, Martin Freeman and Ray Winstone, the movie is due out in October and will be preceded by a soundtrack album (on V2 Records).
And it doesn’t end there. Underworld continue to broadcast live from their studio – Saturdays broadcast attracting record numbers in a hook up with Dutch station VPRO. They are also back in the studio working on new material and on Danny Boyle’s new feature “Sunshine” (also due out in October). Expect a number of 12” releases from Underworld through the summer, with remixes from Pete Heller, Pig and Dan, Paul Woolford and Robag Wruhme.

I know this is going to sound odd and I hear myself thinking it, but this is what I "picture" when I hear Underworld...more towards the STITI sounding..darker, stronger,
fitter happier more productive...

yeah, "Lovely Broken thing" works the same way. The widest stripes = N, that was the key to figure it for me!
one would think that "Pizza for Eggs" follows t he same type code, but i can't fathom it! The spacing throws me:D

Stimpee - cheers for spotting the typo on the sleeve, the running time of the audio section is 30'34" per the preview page (i.e. the artwork is wrong). I shall correct that.
And....this is not necessarily the last riverrun.......

This is just SOOOOO good:) . Peach Tree is that lonely, haunted, dark, pine-forest-in-moonlight-after-heavy-rain vibe that only u/w can do ie "Something Like a Mama", "Juanita"; Showlder is the walk in the enchanted spring meadow like "215 miles" or "Thing in a Book", the other 2 tracks sound fab aswell - this promises to be a stunning release
