Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm having a bit of trouble finding something that I'd like. What I want is an english translation of Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities in hardcover. The only hardcover copies I can find online are used (and $175 US). I would consider spending that much for a new book, but not really for a used one (especially sight unseen).

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I tried looking into getting something custom made, but I couldn't really find any details on getting a one-off custom edition of an existing book. I don't know if it's possible. I'm also guessing that in Italy you can at least find a hardcover new edition in Italian, but I haven't had any luck searching for an English translation. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't think we have any frequently-visiting dirts in Italy, do we?

Thanks kindly.

I've used AbeBooks.com before, and they're great for finding hard-to-find editions. The sellers on there also have quite a good reputation, so they won't rip you off - if they say an edition is in good condition, it will be.

Just had a quick look for ya, and it seems they have what you're after for about a fiver...
