I do. I also love the fact they play Internet games, even if it is all a bit silly.

How do you think season 2 will end?

Never seen it, but I probably will soon. I've got a friend who owns it and is going to lend it to me: they keep telling me it's like David Lynch, which makes me suspect they don't really know what David Lynch is like, and that it's just kind of weird.

this is quite possibly my favorite tv show ever. i'm hooked. like...HOOKED. so hooked that after each episode i spend +/-2 hours discussing it with friends. that's SOOOO DORKY!!! but don't judge until you've watched. it's insanity.

Don't suppose you've poked around sites such as http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/ and http://www.thehansofoundation.org have you, gnat?

The Ultimate Theory was interesting, as well.

Having said that, I hope Michael gets killed in the finale :)

here is some info from wikipedia about the third season:

Season three will begin airing October 4 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/October_4), 2006 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006). It will include 25 episodes that will be delivered in two blocks: an initial fall arc of seven episodes and a second run of consecutive episodes beginning in January or February. According to executive producer Damon Lindelof, there will be new characters in this season as the fans get to know more of the 48 survivors. There will be fewer flashbacks of the original characters since the new ones will have their own that will become a unique and central component of the series.

i thought season 2 was a bit..uhm...'awkward' in places, but of course im hooked. i somehow think that the should come to an end...there is only so much you can do..

i'm addicted to lost. as soon as an episode ends, i start counting down to the next one. it's the only show i get that excited about.

the wikipedia info is interesting if it's true, but it's hard to know if something on wikipedia is true.

well, the source is this (http://www.syfyportal.com/news.php?id=2553) interview with one of the producers, so i guess it's true....

I'm addicted to Lost too, and I agree that season 2 sucked compared to season 1. I've saved this week's episode so that I can watch it and the season finale next week. One of my colleagues is also addicted and we're trying to get our other colleagues to watch it too :D

I'm not sure how I can even survive this summer, cos season 2 will probably have an enormous cliffhanger...But I'm going to watch Prison Break season 1 after this and Stargate season 10 starts in July...

season finale spoiler

Nice ending and wrapped up everything so far. I guess that's how they take the show off the island and introduce those new characters.;)

reviving an old thread, as I am now watching it on dvd. I just finished the first season, and I love this damn show. it's so creepy in parts...hokey in parts...and the water is pretty. :)

Yeah I would have to rate this as quite possibly my favourite show, or at least on a tie with Dexter.

Be interested to see how the format changes next season, given how the last one ended.

EDIT: are you watching for the first time, Prof, or re-watching?

Professor

first time. i watched the season finale of this past season, so in a way, i know how the thing ends, but as usual, there are alot of questions. it's interesting for me to get to know the characters in reverse. this first season was really good. it's intersting how every character seems tied to one another outside of the island. lots of the 'big' questions of life... fate, predestination, other worlds interacting with ours, time travel...

do you speak about the end of the 3rd or the 4th season ? Here in Belgium we just had the 5th and 6th episodes of season 4, it's so good. Time travel question is very interesting, wait is hard for the following...

I tried to like Lost. I really did. But for every question answered, it raised three or four more, and the way every episode ends isn't just a cliffhanger, it's full-on cliffhanger abuse.

I actually just saw a spoof on Mad TV that sums it up quite nicely for me:

My favorite quote: "...it's like you're making this up as we go along!" :D

Funny, but..... na!! :D

They do have it all mapped out right to the end of the show (S6). And the answers offered from Season 3-4 enable the show to progress at a good pace. (admittedly it was very slow in Season 2)

I think you should stick with it!

season 2 is killing me... i'm getting bored with the lack of good nuggets.

Season 2 is where Lost lost people (tadaaam), but I enjoyed it as well. Season 4 is full of responses, indeed.
