Years ago I put together this Underworld collage. It's assembled from over 250 pictures. I've just this morning updated it with a bunch more pictures.

My only wish is to some day actually get this printed as a full-size poster, perhaps on cafepress.com. Copyrights make it difficult.

But here I present a wallpaper version of the poster, along with the full resolution poster image. Feel free to download the full res image, zoom in, and look at all of the pics!

and my initial reaction to this thread was "hey cool Underworld wallpaper - i'd buy that"...not thinking of desktop wallpaper...more thinking of Underworld wall coverings!!!! (doh!)

Hey Stimpee... can you print me off a roll of this as Underworld wallpaper, so i can do up my room in it ;)

ps. don''t tell the wife

I'm getting a mate of mine to print this up for me today on A3+ to have a quick look at it before I take it up to larger size's. Single runs are the suck.

Once Ive done a little more research Ill get back with some prices for different sizes for the aussie dirt's.

WOW - its impressive as a background on a PC but it really comes to life once printed........ Its going to be $30 aus to print it A2 size so I'm going to try doing it as four prints then join and laminate....................but I just found out I can get it printed up to 44" which would look awesome.

Also in the pipline is to get it printed onto a t-shirt.

If any aussie dirts want these done and mailed out let me know.

Spoonman recently came into the #rtsr IRC chat asking for this so here it is again, the 20mb version: http://mihd.net/dz62qy

I lost this too, for the same reason. Nice one.

How many hours of work went into this, Viddy?

Thanks for putting it up again. I lost this when my hard drive died.np.

btw, the mihd.net uploads will stay there for 2 months regardless of activity so grab it while you can. There is no download waiting counter.

You can always use cafepress.com (http://www.cafepress.com) - they do poster printing, and underwear too.

Even my knickers aren't big enough to print Viddy's artwork on :p

Thanks for the linky though -tempted to get a poster done, if Viddy is agreeable to it - it is his intellectual property after all. I would presume, too, that the more that are done, the cheaper it would be per unit? Perhaps it's something that could be co-ordinated through here? I would be happy to do the necessary research for the best prices, admin and distribution, if people were prepared to PayPal me cost plus real postage (not the silly postage charges people invent on eBay :p)

Let me know what you think.

I can't remember how long it took to make that.

I made a similar photo collage with hundreds of photos from my college years. I patched together full sized pictures to make a massive photoshop file. I took that over to Kinko's (printing/copies etc) and spent some dough to get it printed up, full size, on some nice thick glossy print paper and it looked awesome. Really nice quality with lots of detail. It measured about 3 feet high, by 5 feet wide.

I think it would be worth it to take this UW poster over and try to get them to print it for me the same way. I just don't know if they'd do it because I don't own the rights to the photos. It would be worth a shot.
