Does anyone know what kind of wireless headphones and microphone Karl uses when he's on stage? He may have changed the setup - keep in mind I've never seen the boys live - but on Everything, Everything I'd be very interested to know what he used as most wireless mics/phones are useless on big stages. Anyway, just a random thought. Thanks all...

i can't answer your question, but on the recent tour they switched to using in-ear headphones.

Funny, i was reading about this very subject and it seems these headphones have come down in price a lot in the last couple of years. Then again the 700 model has been out for a while now. What I did find tho is that there are quite a few people complaining that the cup/swivel joint cracks even with careful use and that Sony charges about $50 to repair them. Considering you can get the 600 model for $65 now and the 700 model for $89 it seems a bit extortionate. I've not experienced them myself but they are on my shortlist.

might have been, but I didn't see it then... I've heard of those sony's, and their little issue - most sony's have that same thing... but in ear monitors sound like the best way to go. I just like to see Karl jumping around with the cans on his head :P

I've used 700s with my turntables for almost five years now and haven't had any breakage problems. I'm careful with them, but not overly careful.

If you buy headphones at Guitar Center, for $20 you can get a 2 year warranty. If anything happens to them at all you they send you a check. Nice deal.

I asked here on the forums last April... Karl posted a link to the Sennheiser HD 25 (http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/icm_eng.nsf/root/products_headphones_dj_02976) 'phones.
