Passed away aged 84.

Wrote some cracking books.

Been a bastard of a month so far...

He wrote Solaris right?
.. I honestly never read the book,, but i loved both versions (Sodenberh and tarkovsky) of the this movie and i was planning reading this book sometime...

March has seen off a lot of interesting folk: Ivor Cutler, Ali Farka Touré, Jimmy Johnstone, Ian Hamilton Finlay... now Lem.
