In time, it's your albums rather than difficult to find singles that'll be your legacy, and best tracks should be on the albums surely. Surely for example, Oich Oich and Cherry Pie should have made STITI changing the flavour of that album considerably. Please Help Me should have made Beaucoup Fish with Moaner dumped into the abyss. Tiny Clicks should have made 100 Days Off again subtly changing the feel of that album and certainly improving it.

That's your opinion.

i can't be more glad that Rowla made the album over Cherry Pie.

Moaner for Please Help Me? nah. maybe PHM for Push Downstairs.

Well Oich Oich is more the track I'd have liked to make that. Or even one of my favourites Puppy also.

well...

I can understand Oich Oich not being on STITI - esp as it was recorded back when they were working on 'dubno...' - check the year for the video on "Footwear Repairs..." if you don't believe me

I don't get however, why the song didn't get released until the Pearls Girl EP

You can't take off Moaner f/ BF - or any track really... to me - that's probably most well-rounded album. I'd only ever make cosmetic changes on it, if at all. Although, I am a bit ticked that they made it almost impossible (for me at least) to find Rick's mix of KoS. That should've either been a proper bside, or something...

Right you are! Danceability is the word (again). And Moaner is brilliant for rounding off ("Let's round off!") any live set.

Could never understyand the liking for Moanre. As with a few friends my least favourite Underwold track up till then by along way. What's disappointed me most though about tracks like Tiny Clicks is having to buy a single of a track you already will get from the album plus perhaps a mix that isn't particularly different or exciting. Compared to the early days philosophy of something like the great Dirty Epic release that was virtually an album in its own right, there seems to have been a downturn in value for money by UW. Though maybe we're on a new chapter now with the Riverun releases.

yes!

no!

maybe?!

what is this topic supposed to be about again?
What exactly do you expect people to say? Do we really need another topic where everyone and their dog goes around proclaiming which track is better than which track?

Okay fuck it. I say, let's have another poll!

you can't release an single with 3+ tracks anymore, bc then the single won't be considered to the chart in the uk. i'm sure u/w would still release singles like in the 'dmbwmhm' era, but their record company wants to see the singles go to the chart.

i think one of the cool things about uw is that they do put good stuff out as b-sides and not just filler tracks - it means that every piece of output from the band has the same high standards applied to it and the results are the reason we all come to this forum ;)

the rules for singles did change.you used to be able to put upto 40 mins of music on a cd single and if you called them mixes of the same track then that was ok with the charts hence born slippy, born slppy nuxx, dark and long, dark train mix etc, etc.underworld seemed to flaunt the rules to give us more when they could but rules don't allow it now !:(

i thought that the downloads go along way to address this.

Sounds like a big part of the reason Rick and Karl have gone down the download direction all right. Never lost faith n their attitude.

Some tracks are remixs of old tracks.............Cherry Pie being an obvious example.
