Hey there!
I am new to your forum. I am actually doing a show here in the United States called "Circular". It is an electronic music show on Maniatv.com
We are showing your video "King of Snake", and I was doing some research for it. I just wanted to clarify that Darren Price is indeed a part of Underworld now, not Darren Emerson. Could you confirm?
Thanks in advance!

"Part of Underworld" may be a big step. He has certainly been working with them on recent stuff and has been touring with them last year. I don't know whether that makes him a permanent member of the band or not (although it would be nice if he was :) ).
But yes, Darren Emerson has been flying solo since about 2000. Darren Price is now working with the band.
And welcome to the forum! :)

didnt r+k emphasize that he wasnt the replacement or the third memeber or any of that, he was just working very closely with them?
it makes no sense to me, but i do remember then trying to rebuff the whole 3rd member thing.

As far as I know, he's helping them out in the studio (which doesnt make him a full member) and is a member of the live setup. And of course, don't forget his numerous remixes of Underworld tracks, as well as his semi-permanent role as warm-up DJ on the live tours.
From the Electraglide 2005 credits:
Underworld are: Rick Smith, Karl Hyde
All songs written by Underworld except “Morrocan Meatballs”, “Aquafunk” and “Yard Beat” written by Darren Price
Produced by Rick Smith
Mixed by Mike Neilson
Underworld Live is: Darren Price, Malcolm Corbett, John Newsham, Haydn Cruickshank, Pete the Greek, Mark Hughes and Rick A Smith

Yes, I also believe Karl described it as Price being sort of a "session musician" while they're on tour, but he's not the third member of Underworld as such.

On the Annie Nightingale show on Radio 1 in the UK last year, live from the Exit Festival in Serbia, Karl told Annie that Darren was playing for the first time that night as a new member of Underworld.
They joked about how 'your name has to be Darren to be in Underworld?'
