This is maybe stupid question (always is the time to learn more...), but I want to know this info.

Underworld Dogtags

1) Are they rare? How much of them left factory?
2) Why are there two pieces? Does the two pieces have the same number or not?
3) When they was made? 1993 or 1994?
4) Was is for some special gig, or whole tour?

Thank very much for the answer.

2) There are two pieces. One has the Hand logo on it, one side only. The other piece has the UW logo and your number on it, one side only. On the back of both pieces is a tiny company logo (can't quite read it) and "made in england."

Hope that helps, wish I knew the rest for you.

i wouldn't bid on webgirlies dogtags, look at the feedback she gave to others:
http://feedback.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedbackMemberLeft&memberid=webgirlie&items=25&page=3&frompage=-1&iid=-1&de=off

And i must add that she excluded me from her auctions, without giving reasons, although i have 100% positive feedback.:cool:

Yep she is right royal pain in the arse . I had zero feedback at the time I wanted them and she blocked me . Tried to contact her after I had 20+ feedback and wouldnt reply or let me bid . Having said that I used my wife's account and had them here in oz in no time at all.

lloyd got us both some dogtags from webgirlie there no problems. strange. unless lloyd has something to tell. he made the transaction. it seems that she has a box full of them because she's been selling them for maybe a year now. see my sig for a pic.

I got mine from Webgirlie without problems. She has some negative feedback and I only got these on my 2nd try. First time I thought she was trying to rip me off, so I turned down a 2nd chance offer. After a report to Ebay, they found no signs of shill bidding. Her story is that they found a box of these in a warehouse and are selling them off, one at a time, until they're gone. Some auctions go without bids, sometimes there are a couple people bidding. It also appears that the numbers are not being sold in sequence. Stimpee purchased 0764 previously, I got 0266 when I purchased in December/January. Good luck bidding. :)

I want some dogtags too but now I'm scared!

I tell you what, though - it makes for a good laugh when you read some of the feedback and responses. And on balance, she has only had 26 neg feedbacks out of a total of 838 transactions in the past year, so it is worth a gamble. ;)

Good luck bidding. :) thanks:D
she didn't respond to five of my mails, i've just sent her another mail where i ask her politely if she could take me from her ban list.:)

I tell you what, though - it makes for a good laugh when you read some of the feedback and responses. yeah, i like especially that one:
Reply by robbie_8u: She's the Ebay Nazi.

but what are the alternatives... i saw them once on ebay.co.uk but i forgot to bid...:p

Though in the business world, and let's face it, eBay's a business, that's not such a great track record. Most reputable sellers have very few negatives.

Ah, the dogtags...i never thought i was quite tough enough to pull it off. plus the hand and old UW logo don't appeal to me too much. Now a nice pendant with Underworld; that could be hot!:D

i picked mine up at big love 96 - my first underworld gig :)

it'd be good to set up a webbysite somewhere (like the belly site) where we all register our numbers :)

well, usually if someone screws you on ebay, ebay is quick to help you out if you've really been screwed.

Still, quite an amusing read on some of them - most within the last coule of months
She's not too imaginative on the old insults though :D

I've been trying to watch ebay for some since last time someone mentioned that they showed up all the time, but I've had no luck so far. Maybe I just need to look more frequently. If anyone has a spare they're lookin to sell....

Now i'm sure most of us have the dogtags, but i'm curious what everyone is using them for. I'm thinking of hanging mine off my rear view mirror in my car.

Anyone else have any uses for them rather than just sitting in their desk/dresser drawer?

Anyone actually wear them?

Threads merged.

Neomike: please use existing threads rather than starting new ones. Thanks.

mikeI think bryantm3 was making a joke in reference to another thread.

as for me, i think you'll find that using existing threads in preference to starting new ones is common posting etiquette across all net forums and I did ask politely.

Yep! Sure did. And from Webgirlie. And she didn't give me abusive negative feedback.

Well...

She didn't give me any feedback at all thus far, and I wouldn't want to upset her by asking. :o ;)

I wear my dog tags. Well, not the numbered one, but I certainly wear the other tag with the hand logo. The numbered tag is hanging off the corner of a mirror in my place.
I too did not get feedback from webgirlie... no news is good news?
