i was listening around midnight, and one particular song came on that made me think "this is great, i must find out what it is and try and get hold of it" just before Rob announced "that was something new from seattle by Marshall Watson on Highpoint Lowlife"

so there you go. congratulations Professor on making a record that can make people think "this is great. i must find out more about it"! and for getting airplay on national Radio. excellent job, and a great tune.

i have to be honest, it was on low, and i was almost asleep, but it sounded great and i am just about to listen again, via the radio1 website.

that is definitely strange that he's got his hands on an unreleased track. were your uk promo people hyper-efficient or something?

well, the listen back feature is pretty poor sound quality, but i think the tune holds up!

Just finished listening to it, really nice track man! Is it on your new record? So good it seems, that in the show tracklisting, its there twice....

hehe, stimpee and i came to the consensus that it was a typo. and actually, no, that tune will not be found anywhere. there is a plan to release it on a special edition 7" set on HPLL, but we'll see if that ever comes to fruition. thanks for all the support peeps...it means a lot to me.

shane, Vini Reilly called. he wants his money for that sample. seriously, you need to at least try to get that sample cleared if it goes on an official release. i think vini owns all his music so it shouldn't be tough to get. you may have to pay a few K to get it done but it will beat the lawsuit you may find yourself in if the song gets picked up on any compilations.

congrats!

can someone edit the stream and just post the bit where Rob da Bank talks about HPLL and shane?

you make a valid point homey. i've asked thor a couple of times about it....he apparantly has access to vinny. seems like it shouldn't be too difficult.

ok. here's the tune that was broadcasted. it's not from the radio, so it's of a better sound quality. i'm only gonna leave it here for a couple of days. it's one of the very few times i sing.....thank god for efx.
