JT Leroy Hoax??

I haven't read any book of Leroy.. though all this gossip made me order "The heart is decientful above all things".

Anyone read something of he/she Leroy before?

I had been reading about this situation since the NY Times broke the story about a month or so ago. Gotta say that I've never read anything by her, nor had I ever heard of her. So the unmasking of JT was interesting, but it also didn't help that I really had no idea who she was other than she was in a few photos with Courtney Love and was part of a hipster scene in NYC. This week in the Times there was another article about fallout from this unmasking involving a family member related to JT. However I can't seem to find the article on the NY Times website at the moment to share it here.
