title says it all really. i've got what Withnail would call "a bastard behind the eyes" and I needed a tune that would essentially help to cure my hangover. What I came up with was....

Orbital - Deeper.

focus your attention on a spot and when that spot has your full and complete attention, take a deep breath. let it out and close your eyes. close your eyes, and relax. relax. listen to the sound of my voice, and relax. listen to the sound of my voice, and allow every muscle in your body to relax. listen to the sound of my voice, and allow yourself to drift deeper and deeper into relaxation.

perfect.

Music?!?

The only sound I want to hear when I'm hung over goes plink plink fizz.

some really mellow ambient type stuff. maybe even some brian eno or aphex twin - selected works of ambient vol 2. just make sure the sound is very low as to not disturb the massive pulsating head ache.

Underworld - Juanita/Kiteless/To Dream Of Love

At some point the beats match up with the pounding in my head. Banstyle is soothing right atfterwards.

Where Do I Begin

vocals : Beth Orton

Sunday morning I'm waking up
Can't even focus on a coffee cup
Don't even know who's bed I'm in
Where do I start
Where do I begin (X2)

Where do I start
Where do I begin (X4)

Sunday morning I'm waking up
Can't even focus on a coffee cup
Don't even know who's bed I'm in
Where do I start
Where do I begin

Where do I start
Where do I begin

Where Do I Begin

Hmmm, that'll be the track that ends with a sound like a circular saw on metal. I think I'll pass on that and just rub my face up and down a pebbledashed wall next time I'm hung over. ;)

The Bonobo album "Sweetness".

Whole album is gentle and kind to sair heids. Like wrapping your brain in gently-scented cotton wool.

I always thought the sound came from a rally car.

Ibiza Afterhours 1 and 2 - the early 90's Jose Padilla ones...

...and Cafe Del Mar Volumen Seis.

Ooh, and the Tony Scott 'Music For ____ Meditation' tracks.

Tom Waits - Closingtime

That album always makes me calm and easy, if just a bit sad.. perfect on sundays for a last beer and good reason not to say anything for about 40 minuttes.

Biosphere - Substrata. The best ambient album ever!
