I'm going to have to take the fact that I could recite the words to Pearl's Girl without even having listend to the tune in.....months, that it should be the one to keep :)

Banstyle is goin down!

Really tough choice. Banstyle is the weakest one here.

Frivolous, ill-considered voting from here on in.

I vote PG. Juanita... Banstyle... easily my favourite first two on an album of all time. I hate to get rid of PG, but I'm typing this - tired - at 9:30am and PG seems too boisterous just now :).

I havent voted for the album at all but it was so predictable from the start that Juanita would win.

Went with Banstyle. The other two are live favourites.

This is getting painful again.

Banstyle/Sappy's Curry is gorgeous

But less gorgeous than the othee two.

You are the weakest link - goodbye! :(

Juanita got my vote, just don't like the vocal on it and probably never will do. Save Banstyle!

Save Banstyle!

i'll print up tee-shirts and alert the Press!

Pearls Girl is rockin, sure, but maybe having heard it so many times makes it easier to dismiss. I maintain that "Banstyle" and particularly the "Sappys Curry" is the overlooked gem of the album.

I'll get some flyers printed to and start handing them out........!

Ah hell, I was afraid this would happen. I'm going for "Pearls Girl," of course. "Banstyle" is amazing. As I said before, from a purely musical standpoint, I think it's the band's best track ever. There's just so many great things in it. For instance, the way those little guitar bits crop up in the first half. They would have sounded harsh if they weren't buried so low in the mix, so they just provide a bit of shade to contrast with the smooth keyboards. And then there's the totally unexpected way it goes into the second half and the keyboards make room for the guitar. The sound on that guitar, too, is utterly mind-blowing. It's a kind of romantic vaguely Spanish-sounding melancholy, but also a bit cold. And then the way it builds up again to crescendo, and of course, the way Karl whispers the lines, and the freaky outro with the things that sound like "malfunctioning woodwinds" as someone described it once. Oh, man. Come on, guys. "Pearls Girl" barely even has any forward movement.

I want Banstyle to win it all. Death to PG.

P'sG has been pretty low on my list as its never been a favorite of mine. In any live set its the track i skip most often.

Hmm, Juanita is probably essentially a better track but has been overlistened... Banstyle is at least fresh, these days I would listen to it over Juanita. So I'm voting Juanita... but this means not that much really ;)
